My National Public Addiction

I've decided to start a blog. I'll write about what interests me and hope will interest you. Please feel free to comment on, criticize, and debate anything that I post.

Thanks!

What would be more prudent than to mark my commencement by thanking the fine folks at NPR for hours upon hours upon hours of entertainment. With my newfound admiration for "technology" (this means it has been around for a few years and I'm slowly coming around to it...yes my family still had windows 3.1 in 1996) I have ventured into the world of Podcasts.

Here is a list of my personal favorites:

Wait...Wait...Don't Tell Me (The NPR News Quiz with Peter Segel and Carl Cassel)
This American Life (Addictive Exposition with Ira Glass)
Forum (Strictly California with Michael Krazny)
Le Show (Harry Shearer mocks all)
BBC

If you're anything like I am and, parked in your driveway at 3 in the morning, wait for City Arts and Lectures to finish before calling it a night, I implore you to get on your itunes and hook in to the broadcasts. They're free, informative, and SO REFRESHINGLY ADDICTIVE.
